This binder features a fuzzy little Hickory Tussock Caterpillar (Lophocampa caryae) reflected on a black glass surface. This cause is very important to me! Animals are innocent and they have to be treated with love and respect!!! I belonged to a group of people who tried to get justice for a little kitten that had been abused (Little Dexter). For one of the pre-trial hearings, I designed a shirt that said "Stop Animal Abuse". When I wanted to take a picture of the shirt, my cat Chloe got into the picture and put her paw on the shirt. A very powerful image! 25% of my earnings will be donated to the Humane Society of the USA.
This lovely decorative American MoJo throw pillow features one of the world's most beautiful birds, the Northern Cardinal. Here he is with his brilliant red plumage perched on a branch of a flowering apple tree. The pink and white flowers are the perfect background to set off the scarlet feathers of this gorgeous bird!

My garden is a universe of light, color and movement. The flowers and vegetables shine with beauty...and the little animals amaze me with their infinite variations of shape, form and action. I have tried to capture these lovely little beings with my photography and have compiled the best for this 2013 calendar. This set of cork coasters features a Sharp-Shinned Hawk perched on the top of a bird feeder hoping to catch a meal. He has a hunter's stare. His yellow talons and orange eyes are prominent. He has lovely rust and cream bands on his breast, white and black striped tail feathers, and a gray back. This hawk's prey is mostly small birds. Although the "Sharpie" is the smallest hawk in North America, he is a very fierce predator. As soon as I took this photo, I chased him away from our feeders!
