This Case-Mate iPhone case features two adorable African Penguins standing on a rocky ledge against a sky blue background. They are aquatic, flightless birds whose wings have become flippers. Each has a black stripe and black spots on the chest. The pattern of spots is unique for every penguin, just like human fingerprints. They have pink glands above their eyes and pink and black feet.
The Great Blue Heron in the original photograph on this mousepad is showing his plumage, looking a bit like a porcupine, fluffing up his feathers to make himself look bigger, to tell another bird that it's his territory. In the photo we see the bird in profile, his gray blue coloring ending in a white head with deep blue bands on each side. My garden is a universe of light, color and movement. The flowers and vegetables shine with beauty...and the little animals amaze me with their infinite variations of shape, form and action. I have tried to capture these lovely little beings with my photography and have compiled the best for this 2013 calendar. By replacing the nuclei of egg cells from an elephant with those taken from the mammoth's marrow cells, embryos with mammoth DNA can be produced, Kyodo said, citing the researchers. Embryos will then be implanted into elephant wombs for delivery as the two species are closely related. Securing nuclei with an undamaged gene is essential for the nucleus transplantation technique. For scientists involved in the research since the late 1990s, finding nuclei with undamaged mammoth genes has been a challenge. The woolly mammoth is known from bones and frozen carcasses from northern North America and northern Eurasia with the best preserved carcasses in Siberia. They are perhaps the most well known species of mammoth. It disappeared from most of its range at the end of the Pleistocene, with an isolated population living on Wrangel Island until roughly 1700 BCE. Woolly mammoths are common in the fossil record. A grumpy looking American Toad (Bufo americanus) is looking out at you from this wrapped canvas print. This small amphibian is brown with black, gold olive green and orange coloration.
