Out of the Void Posters
Out of the Void Poster by Bebops

I am constantly astonished and entranced by the myriad forms of life on this planet. To quote one of my very favorite authors, Annie Dillard, in
Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, "the creator has pizzazz".

I hope to display a variety of animal images on this blog to delight us all. I have created many products featuring wildlife and pets for my Zazzle stores, Bebop's Place and Bebop's Weddings, using my original photographs and designs. I am also constantly amazed at the gorgeous animal products available from the rest of the Zazzle community. I am hoping others will enjoy this blog and even be moved to purchase some of these lovely items for gifts or just for the pleasure of having such beauty around.

This iPad case features two Brown Pelicans in the water of a canal. The bird in the foreground is taking off, his head stretched outward, his wings a blur at the sides, and his feet extended backwards as they splash the water. The second pelican, still sitting in the water, seems to be saying to the first bird "Go for it!". The background of the photo shows the wall of the canal at the top, reflected in shades of golden brown on the water, blending into greens and blues with a reflection of the flying pelican in the ripples. These wild birds are out exploring.

The original photograph in this print shows a Great Blue Heron foraging for food along the banks of a canal. We see the bird as he lifts his foot and points his beak toward his prey, his S shaped neck and white head with its dark blue stripe poised to spring. The heron's body, with its bluish gray feathers, stands out against the dark brown wood of the dock. A reflection of a white boat on the water shows off the bird's thin, dark legs. In the foreground of the scene, tall grasses grow at the edge of the rippled water. There is a wide white border around the photograph, with title and photographer's credit in small text under the photo.
