Celebrate the new year with this pullover t-shirt featuring exquisite cabbage butterflies (Pieris rapae). They have stopped flitting around the garden long enough to perch on a verbena flower. Each has a black body which does not show beneath her four white wings, each with a black dot at the center. The two upper wings have a black band at the tips. Her face is a pale green. She is a lovely, delicate creature. The text reads 2013. It can be customized or removed.

My garden is a universe of light, color and movement. The flowers and vegetables shine with beauty...and the little animals amaze me with their infinite variations of shape, form and action. I have tried to capture these lovely little beings with my photography and have compiled the best for this 2013 calendar. I hope you will join me in the marvelous land of the giant swallowtail, hoverfly, tiger swallowtail, damselfly, cranefly, least skipper butterfly, grasshopper, Aphrodite fritillary butterfly, polyphemus moth, honeybee, ruby meadowhawk dragonfly and bush katydid nymph. My garden is a universe of light, color and movement. The flowers and vegetables shine with beauty...and the little animals amaze me with their infinite variations of shape, form and action. I have tried to capture these lovely little beings with my photography and have compiled the best for this 2013 calendar. I hope you will join me in the marvelous land of the giant swallowtail, hoverfly, tiger swallowtail, damselfly, cranefly, least skipper butterfly, grasshopper, Aphrodite fritillary butterfly, polyphemus moth, honeybee, ruby meadowhawk dragonfly and bush katydid nymph. 2013 WALL CALENDAR COLLECTION
A grumpy looking American Toad (Bufo americanus) is looking out at you from the front of this shirt. This small amphibian is brown with black, gold olive green and orange coloration. His warts distinguish him from his frog neighbors. Although hatched in the water of ponds, rivers, lakes or streams, the tadpoles soon move to land where the toads live their adult lives. His startling call is a long screech. He looks quite fierce but is actually a gentle little guy who eat lots of garden pests including insects and slugs. The text reads: Make my day. It can be customized or removed.
From the designer: "The design is from the original collage of hand-torn newspapers made by me, Keiko Suzuki. The dog model is our family mutt dog, Rikimaru."
This iPad case features a close up of a sleeping kitten.

2013 WALL CALENDAR COLLECTION
This iPad case features two Brown Pelicans in the water of a canal. The bird in the foreground is taking off, his head stretched outward, his wings a blur at the sides, and his feet extended backwards as they splash the water. The second pelican, still sitting in the water, seems to be saying to the first bird "Go for it!". The background of the photo shows the wall of the canal at the top, reflected in shades of golden brown on the water, blending into greens and blues with a reflection of the flying pelican in the ripples. These wild birds are out exploring.
